I'm a 29 year old successful professional working in the Bay Area. I have been in the Bay for almost 12 years now.
I was born and raised in Bombay - my favorite city in the whole world.
I know it sounds very cliched when I say that I am a good blend of Eastern and Western values - but the fact is that I am. I was exposed to different cultures when I moved to the United Arab Emirates for my high school - I made friends coming from different ethnicities and backgrounds - and many of those friendships I still maintain.
Ok.. moving on to what kind of a person I am... In a nutshell, I think I am a fairly simple, straightforward and honest person. I don't like to take my life too seriously - its good to
be serious and focused when needed, but for the most part I am a chill person. I wouldn't consider myself an absolute extrovert - but I'm definitely not an introvert either. It takes me a little bit of time
to open up, but once I'm there, you'll have a hard time shutting me up.
I enjoy large groups as much as I like one-on-one conversations. And just when you start thinking I am this absolute social animal, I do have a side to me that just wants to be alone sometimes at peace with myself.
What am I looking for? I truly don't have a list of requirements that I need in my partner.. I don't think they come in defined packages you know. I'm hoping to meet someone who has a very positive outlook in life.. someone who's straightforward, and speaks his mind.. someone who can be my best friend. We should be able to laugh at each other's jokes and be able to talk to each other without getting bored.
I don't necessarily think that we have to have the same interests - I
mean there's probably a reason why the statement "Opposites attract"
came into being, didn't it?
Anyways.. that should be enough to get us going - we really should
leave something for our conversation over coffee!

I used to foster dogs at one point. I fell completely in love with everyone of them. So whenever I would have to put them up for adoption, I ended adopting them myself. And now I have four dogs and no more fostering. So for now, creating a loving home for my dogs is right up there.
